Cardiovascular fitness is described as an increased elevation of the heart rate over a pre-determined length of time. We concentrate on improving your overall cardio fitness in-line with your aspirations. Whether you are training for the first time or preparing for a marathon, our cardio fitness programme provides you with an opportunity to lower your 'resting heart rate' (RHR) reduce your 'body mass index' (BMI) improve your aerobic recovery, increase your 'lung capacity' (VO2 max) and increase your sustainable heart rate under intense physical exersion.

Diet & Nutrition | An indepth look at your diet through analysis of food intake, consumption, food groups, balance, daily allowance, supplements, vitamin & mineral intake, times, portion control, calorie intake and dietary management.

Our Nutrition programme helps you control what you eat and how to manage your weekly intake. We believe in providing our clients with the knowledge and the tools to implement a healthy diet, adopt a different perspective on food and sustain a better understanding of the importance of food in our lives. Our programmes can be adapted for different purposes such as eating to lose weight, eating for increased energy, eating for sport specifics, eating for a healthy lifestyle, eating for weight gain and eating for allergies.

Insanity | INSANITY is a revolutionary cardio-based total body-conditioning program based on the principles of MAX Interval Training.

By using MAX Interval Training, INSANITY pushes the participant to new training heights, resulting in more calories burned, faster results, and a more efficient metabolism. INSANITY’s interval training is the pinnacle of cardio training.

Weight Management | Our Weight Management programme concentrates on your goals for weight loss or weight gain through use of specific training methods to access fat stores or increase mucscle density.

This programme allows you to focus on specific weight loss or weight gain. Weight loss is not as hard as you may think and involves an increase in your cardiac output, however not to an intense level. It also involes a calorie controlled diet plan which needs to be adhered to. Weight gain is totally different and is usually aimed towards clients wanting to increse muscle mass. We use techniques which help the growth of muscle and the recovery process to ensure gradual growth is achieved.

Interval Training (HIIT) | Our Interval Training programme focuses on recovery and intensity during exercise, controlling the heart rate along a sliding scale of intensity.

High-intensity interval training (HIIT) or sprint interval training (SIT), is an enhanced form of interval training, an exercise strategy alternating periods of short intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods. HIIT is a form of cardiovascular exercise. HIIT sessions may vary from 4–30 minutes. These short, intense workouts provide improved athletic capacity and condition, improved glucose metabolism, and improved fat burning. Depending on your level of cardiovascular development, the moderate-level intensity can be as slow as walking. A common formula involves a 2:1 ratio of work to recovery periods, for example, 30–40 seconds of hard sprinting alternated with 15–20 seconds of jogging or walking.

Personal Training | Our Personal Training programme specialises on increasing your overall health & fitness abilities using a cross section of methods and techniques.

We motivate our clients by setting goals, providing feedback and accountability to our clients. We will measure your strengths and weaknesses with fitness assessments. These fitness assessments may also be performed before and after an exercise programme to measure your fitness improvements. We also educate you in many other aspects of wellness besides exercise, including general health and nutrition guidelines. We ensure your sessions are varied and enjoyable to make sure your stay motivated.

Strength & Conditioning | Our Strength & Conditioning programme focuses heavily on improving your 'overall' strength. We breakdown the different types of strength such as explosive, static, endurance, primary/secondary engagement, isolation and cardio output.

We incorporate every angle of 'complete strength training'. Whether you are training for an event, competing or looking to achieve an all round high level of fitness, our strength training will exceed your expectations. We adopt multiple techniques such as high repetition/low weight, low repetition/high weight, unilateral/bilateral movement, spot isolation, positive/negative sets, balance/stability, time lapse contraction/extension, interval training/fartlek training, pyramids/drop setting and compound movement training.

Sport Specifics | Our Sports Specifics programme encompasses the use of training methods that are specific to your chosen sport.

We will tailor your training sessions to incorporate key fitness skills that you can use within your competition phase. Using such techniques as SAQ (speed | agility | quickness) to enhance your performance levels. This type of training usually consists of complete fitness solutions that employ the use of a cross section of training disciplines such as interval training, core, strength, endurance, stamina, flexibility, psychology, diet & nutrition and cardio output.

Flexibility | We focus on optimising your muscles and joints to perform to the best of their abilities under contraction and extension.

Our flexibility programme concentrates on pre workout stretching and post workout stretching. Contraction and extension are the primary movements of all our muscles and it is important that we are flexing and extending them in the correct way through the joints. We aim to ensure you become more knowledgeable about muscle function and range of movement.

Running Club | A physically social event where various running techniques are used to help you improve your running ability and challenge your mental sustainability.

Our weekly running club incorporates high level challenges and optimum training techniques that push you to your limits. Set in a glorious outdoor environment and working within small groups, we can improve your running ability and challenge your fitness.

Semi Private Training | Semi Private Training (SPT) is tailored to small groups of people who aspire to reach the same goal in a more social and interactive environment. It allows you to motivate each other and help drive the group to achieving the agreed goals.

SPT is a great way to meet new people and have fun while working out. Your workouts can be more adaptable and can encourage you to try new types of training that are more suitable to small groups than individually or as part of a large 'class'.

Sports Massage | Total body massage concentrating on deep tissue & soft tissue massage, tension release, treating aches & pains and use of pressure point techniques.

Sports Massage can benefit you in many different ways. It is primarily used to release build up of tension in the muscles and is a preventative of early onset of injuries created through intense training regimes. It can help your body work at its optimal performance level and can increase energy and strength output. As part of this service we can help promote flexibility in the muscles which in turn can help you train harder and for longer.
